Overview

Why attend this webinar?

Join experienced clinicians Saundra Jain, MA, PsyD and Brian Pilecki, PhD for a dynamic conversation on the evolving role of group work in psychedelic therapy. With a combined background spanning group and individual psychotherapy, ketamine retreats, and psilocybin facilitation, Saundra and Brian bring deep insight into the nuanced interplay between group dynamics and non-ordinary states of consciousness.

In this live webinar, moderated by Fluence's Director of Product, Dan MacCombie, we’ll explore the growing field of psychedelic-assisted group therapy with two experienced Fluence trainers. Saundra Jain brings extensive experience leading psychotherapy groups and facilitating ketamine-assisted sessions in retreat settings. Brian Pilecki, a seasoned psychedelic therapist and clinical researcher, draws from his experience of group psilocybin sessions in Oregon and The Netherlands.

Together, they’ll discuss what makes group psychedelic therapy both promising and complex—from preparation to integration. The conversation will touch on differences between ketamine and psilocybin in a group format, as well as the therapeutic, ethical, and logistical considerations of working with groups.

This event will benefit clinicians and students interested in:

  • Understanding the unique dynamics of psychedelic group work

  • Comparing group vs. individual preparation, dosing, and integration

  • Gaining practical insight into medicine-specific approaches in group settings

  • Learning best practices and common challenges from seasoned practitioners

The conversation will conclude with a live Q&A.

What students have to say about our programs...

  • I really appreciate Fluence. The trainings and coursework, the literature shared, the community, self-development and insightful explorations have strengthened me as a professional and given such a sense of competence in this evolving space.

    Amy Johnson

    LCSW

  • I've been more than thrilled about my experience with Fluence thus far. I am a ketamine-assisted psychotherapist and

continue to learn more information and modalities to incorporate into my practice, from both the instructors and

    fellow students.

    LAURA HUTCHINS,

    LCMHC, LCAS, KAP Consulting

  • My entire experience with Fluence has been exceptional. The instructors are giants in the psychedelic field, many are active in clinical research and you will see their names in scientific publications.

    Stephanie Barss,

    FNP, PMHNP, Psilocybin-Assisted Therapy

    Certificate Program Advisor

  • The trainers at Fluence are what continually confirm that I am in the right place. The reverence and honor with which they approach their work is so evident. I have felt a sense of safety

at Fluence that is not present in other organizations I have

trained with or researched, and it is the trainers who create that safety.

    Andrea Bigenho,

    LPC specialist in Psychedelic Integration
