This training was presented with intelligence, diversity and heart. My first experience with a Fluence training exceeded my hopes and I highly recommend anyone interested to pursue training from these unquestionably knowledgeable and competent trainers.
Fluence classes are taught with integrity, professionalism and invaluable information based on research of the rich and complex history of transformational medicines and hallucinogens. I’ve enjoyed Fluence’s pluralistic approach to caring for humans and I have learned exponentially from my peers. I particularly appreciate Fluence’s dedication to social justice education and social location. The transmutation of being is an invitation I practice daily and hold what I’ve learned at Fluence close to my heart.
As a participant in Fluence Training’s Trauma-Informed Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy course, I discovered that as hungry as I am to learn and practice in the emerging field of psilocybin-assisted facilitation the community generated in shared experiential learning profoundly bolstered my confidence, my curiosity, and my passion to contribute to easing suffering of people outside models of pathology. To support a client in self-driven transformational processes to discover his/her/their own inner wisdom about themselves and their situations in life feels like a practice in radical acceptance and love.
Fluence provides a unique opportunity to learn directly from the researcher. The Fluence trainers are knowledgable but also relatable and warm. The trainers share diverse experiences and backgrounds which is vital in this emerging field.
My engagement with the Trauma Informed Psychedelic Assisted Therapy Training brought hope to our society changing their acceptance towards a therapeutic tool that has been used for centuries to support individuals with their struggles to gain a deeper meaning in their lives. The training provided depth and understanding to intergenerational trauma, systemic racism, and the history in our society that has put a halt on the use of psychedelics for therapeutic use.
Surprisingly accurate balance of professional / casual air, creating a warm, no-stress, learning environment; Very pleased to have signed up for this course!
