Dan MacCombie is a mental health counselor, entrepreneur, and Director of Product at Fluence. Dan leads the creation and growth of many of Fluence’s education programs, building them from the ground up and guiding them through every stage of development—from initial design to launch and ongoing improvement. He works closely across teams to ensure that Fluence’s offerings meet the evolving needs of psychedelic practitioners and reflect the highest standards of care, accessibility, and integrity. In addition to program development, Dan supports the organization’s long-term strategy and helps shape key decisions around growth, equity, and impact.

Dan’s background includes over a decade of experience building mission-driven organizations. He co-founded and led Runa, a social enterprise and beverage company that fostered sustainable livelihoods for indigenous farmers in the Ecuadorian Amazon, and served as a facilitator and COO at EVRYMAN, leading men’s retreats and programs focused on emotional wellness and relational development. He holds a Master’s in Counseling from Northwestern University and previously worked in psychedelic education and training through at Lykos Therapeutics (formerly MAPS PBC).

Outside of Fluence, Dan maintains a private psychotherapy practice where he works with individuals navigating life transitions, anxiety, burnout, relationship challenges, and identity development, as well as preparation for and integration of psychedelic experiences.
