Psychedelic Therapy and Integration | November 2024 Cohort
Dr. Mia Sarno (she/they) is a gender fluid Licensed Clinical Psychologist. They also go by Dr. Mimi. They earned their Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from California School of Professional Psychology, where they returned to teach as an Adjunct Professor. Dr. Mimi completed the MAPS MDMA Therapy Training and has served as a study therapist for FDA research with LSD, psilocybin and 5-MeO-DMT. In addition to working in private practice, they work with Kadima Neuropsychiatry Institute serving clients with Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy. They also provide training and consultation in the psychedelic ecosystem. Throughout their graduate studies, Dr. Mimi specialized in Health Psychology and worked in large medical hospitals as well as community mental health centers. They completed their postdoctoral fellowship at the Miami Veterans Affairs Hospital in Clinical Health Psychology. They specialize in psychedelic integration, complex trauma, chronic illness, and anxiety.
