Bill Brennan, PhD, is a psychologist, psychedelic researcher, educator, and author in New York City. He has served as a clinical supervisor on several trials of psychedelic therapy and has written several psychedelic therapy manuals. He developed the EMBARK model of psychedelic treatment with Dr. Alex Belser and is a core faculty member in the EMBARK psychedelic facilitator training program. He and Dr. Belser authored a comprehensive guide to psychedelic treatment entitled EMBARK Psychedelic Therapy for Depression: A New Approach for the Whole Person, which will be published by Oxford University Press in April 2024. He serves as an advisory board member for New Yorkers for Mental Health Alternatives, a group that works to expand access to psychedelic medicines, and he has previously served on the ethics working group of the American Psychedelic Practitioners Association.
