Becky Butler is a clinical social worker in Atlanta. She’s been a therapist for over 30 years and a meditator for over 40 years. She teaches (and practices) a form of Taoism that emphasizes embodiment, relationality, and surrender.
She’s also been clinical director of a treatment facility for adolescents, as well as a consultant for the Annie E. Casey Foundation, helping develop linkages between public systems and community partnerships. She continues to be deeply involved in political advocacy in Georgia.
Her interest in Psychedelic Assisted Psychotherapy grows out of a sense that only through deep experiences of connection can we heal personally, collectively and globally. She completed a year-long training in PAP through the Integrative Psychiatry Institute, and since 2022 has been a therapist and facilitator for psychedelic clinical trials.
