Sabina Sehgal, Ph.D. is a licensed clinical psychologist who has over a decade of experience as a specialist in cognitive behavioral therapy and health psychology. She completed her postdoctoral fellowship at Moores Cancer Center at the University of San Diego California (UCSD) and extensive training in empirically supported treatments at Rady Children’s Hospital, San Diego. Using self-regulatory interventions such as meditation and guided imagery, often integrated with behavioral medicine, Dr. Sehgal works with individuals, couples and families to support their transition through their diagnoses and promotes a positive supportive setting in which clients recover. Dr. Sehgal has been trained as a psilocybin therapist with Compass Pathways in an FDA approved program. Most recently, she joined the research team at UCSD and Kadima Neuropsychiatry Institute for a clinical trial using psilocybin for treating treatment resistant depression.
