Sheyla (she/her) is a camera operator and video editor. She received her B.A. in Digital Media Production and Journalism from SUNY New Paltz in 2022. After apprenticing with the emerging non-profit organization HUDSY.tv, Sheyla dove into filmmaking as a production assistant. This lead her to gaining experience in digital marketing, documentary filming and feature film making with clientele including Choice Films and the Woodstock Film Festival.
Through working at Fluence, Sheyla handles logistics of content filming, integrating assistant editors and manages media assets for the company’s educational and promotional content. Outside the workplace she can be found art journaling, kick-boxing or hosting dinner for friends.
