Chenae is a bicultural/bilingual Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She is currently working in a primary care clinic in Woodburn, Oregon where she offers brief counseling and case
management to patients across the lifespan. Chenae is a first generation Mexican American who honors the lineage of psilocybin which has a long history of healing in Mexico and many other parts of the world. Growing up in a Mexican household, Chenae remembers her family feeling pressure to bifurcate medical care between traditional cultural practices and the Western medical model. Graduated from the Fluence Psilocybin-Assisted Therapy Certificate program in July 2023, Chenae is especially interested in becoming a bridge for first generation immigrants and Spanish-speaking clients interested in psilocybin services.
