Jess M. Jones, LSCW, LCSW-C, a therapist who brings her whole heart to the work. She centers on a social justice orientation and systemic approach to psychedelic-assisted therapy. She believes authentic relationships can be good medicine, that intergenerational cycles of trauma can be healed, and that safety can be cultivated in the body. As a Latina and native Spanish speaker, she has specialized in working with undocumented Spanish-speaking youth and adults and mixed-status families. She has worked in private practice with primarily LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC clients who have experienced childhood trauma. She is certified in TF-CBT, EMDR, and PriCARE and have completed trainings in SE, MI, Hakomi, ABFT, and IFS.
In the realm of psychedelic healing, she is a MAPS-certified MDMA-AT therapist and consultant and have completed Polaris Insight Center’s ketamine-assisted therapy (KAP) training. She is also certified in Cybin’s EMBARK model of PAT through working as a study therapist on their Phase 1B/2A trial of psilocybin for MDD. She also works as a trainer and mentor for Fluence. She aspires to anti-racist and culturally curious practices and am committed to psychedelic equity and access. When she is not supporting whole-person healing for all through psychedelic medicine, she cares for 100+ houseplants, read queer speculative fiction, and play drums in Batalá DC, an Afro-Brazilian samba-reggae performance group.
